This FAQ page is to help groups looking to start using Open Collective to manage their finances, or anyone who is interested in The Social Change Nest’s (“SCN”) use of the Open Collective (Accountable) platform.

What does it mean that The Social Change Nest is our Collective’s Fiscal Host?
A Fiscal Host is a legally constituted organisation that enables a Collective to transact financially without needing to legally incorporate themselves.
Do we have to use The Social Change Nest as a Fiscal Host?
No. There are other Fiscal Hosts such as All for Climate and Extinction Rebellion. It can be a good idea to have a Fiscal Host that is in the same country that you operate in.
